I have this 3000, 1000 explorer, and 240 explorer. What I like about this HomePower 3000: the Jackery brand name, the competitive pricing which tell me that their marketing dept is in the business to capture the majority of the market share so they're in for the long run, the lovely look of it. Alright, let's get to the real things: I've owned other power stations, but Jackery beats the daylight out of them. The reliability is unbelievable. It has many protections built in. You could do nothing wrong. Very smart computer system inside. You can use a 1000 watt generator to charge it too, but just set it to quiet charge mode first via its free app. You can set it to 15% discharge down and 80% charge up to prolong the battery life. Even if you discharged it to zero percent, you won't damage the unit at all because it has battery management system (BMS) built in. The battery won't lose power over time. It will continue to show the same percentage if you don't use it. It'll tell you the powers of input and output on the unit itself as well as in the app. The battery power and the output wattage correspondence with each other 100%. For example, if your heater uses 1000 watts, then the unit will supply three hours of usage. For 500 watts, 6 hrs. For 200 watts, 15 hrs. With 3600W continuous output (7200W surge peak), you can run high power appliances with no sweet. You can control the unit via your snartphone's Bluetooth or the wifi. With the wifi, the can control it from out of town as long as you have the unit turned on. You can charge it and use it at the same time. But make sure the charge in power is higher than the power you use to prolong the life of it. This applies to any brands. I use my Jackery 240 Explorer for my wifi router power backup because it works much better than my Cyberpower 1500A APC power station. Make sure to set it to never turn off via the app.
What I wish for improvement: The app wouldn't be able to find the unit via Bluetooth mode after turning it on for a while. Hopefully, the app update will fix this.
