Smaller Jetboil System

Smaller Jetboil System
This is a smaller version of the standard Jetboil system. The overall construction is great and everything stacks within itself. It’s all contained in a single unit.  I gave it a test and placed 16oz of water in the pot and it came to a boil in under two minutes. I did not use full power at first; I gradually increased it within the first 15 seconds. I did NOT use the provided lid- I wanted to simulate what I would do in the field- I most likely wouldn’t use it because it snapped on and I didn’t want to chance burning myself.  Anyways, it boiled quickly and was easy to use. I’m not sure if this is a deal breaker for some people, but my standard sized isobutane fuel does not fit inside of the pot. I know a lot of backpackers that like everything to nest inside of each other, so if that’s you, you’ll need to find an alternative isobutane container that will work.

    The Jetboil is extremely easy to use both camping or home if the power is out. We love to use it to heat pre-made soups, ramen, water for pour over coffee, hot chocolate. We like that it packs together well and quality is good with zero issues after daily use as we overland full time. It’s as staple for us! Would buy again!
