This was purchased at a store for Christmas (bc I thought it would be easier to return at store if we didn’t like it, longer return policy). I wanted to review here because I was so impressed with it and it’s price compared to other options. I don’t know why you’d spend more for something else like this. There’s nothing shabby about it. It’s big enough for 2 adults to do it, well built, sturdy (we are a family of 5 with 3 boys). Finish is great, hoops are great, balls are great, sensor works great, sound is fine not too loud. We haven’t folded it to move it but seems simple.

It took both me and my husband to put together, about an hour with kid interruptions. But it’s not difficult just big pieces. Pieces are all numbered. We referenced the book and a recommended online app trying to be quick and not mess up. The book had useful side notes that the app did not. All pieces fit easily except the big clothe piece which we had to pull very tightly to stretch across bottom of backboard.

Our whole family has been using it. Super fun. Great choice.

My 13 year old son said this was his favorite Christmas gift! Very sturdy. Nice size. We have moved it from room to room. No problem. Great price.

This surpassed expectations. I purchased it for my two sons Christmas 2025. It’s very durable, and to my surprise, the battery life is excellent because I haven’t changed the original ones yet. One or two screws have come loose, but that may be on me. If you’re looking for an enjoyable game that keeps kids active and satisfies competitive nature, then this is a good purchase.

Overall the game plays well. It was very easy to set up (about 1 1/2 hrs) and the instructions were pretty easy to follow. The backboard and its components are delicate and it is easy to over-tighten the screws for the clock and scoreboard. If you do it will break. Also, over-tightening the screws on the backboard will cause it to crack.

The balls are nice, good tack. You will need your own air-pump and needles to pump them up as the pump supplied is flimsy at best.

You'll also need 3 AA batteries to get the scoreboard and clock to run; it is not a plug-in game. The battery compartment is plastic and I would suspect the buttons will stop working after a year or two of use.

The kids really enjoy it (15, 13 and 7). The rims are about 5' off the ground so unless you have kids ho want to shoot like Steph Curry it should be playable in most any room.

Product was delivered intact and on time. All parts were well packed and marked. The build instructions were very clear and accurate, and assembly went by the book, with parts smoothly fitting together. Everything was functional once the build was complete. My grandson (and expectedly, his uncles) have had a great time competing!

Update: I contacted the customer support identified in the users manual and they sent me a new rim to replace the broken one. So glad I didn't have to return this thing!

Original: Good game but such poor quality. One of the hooks for the net broke off in the first few minutes of playing. I noticed that they appear to be attached with globs of solder on top of painted metal, so it's very likely that more will break.
